THE LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP SERIES consists of a series of practical and relevant Leadership skill building workshops. TheLearn & Apply method is applied in each workshop. Fieldwork and assignments aregiven between sessions that focus on the practical application of the material. Leaders share what specific actions they have taken and theirresults. The Leadership Program is customized based on the modules that are most important to fit the organization’s needs.
This workshop will give you leadership basics. What is leadership?How is it different from management? Five specific leadership behaviors that make a difference will be spotlighted.You will also learn what the most important characteristics of a superior leader are, and specific techniques will be emphasized on how to expand your leadership skills.

This workshopwill help you to become a more flexible and effective leader by learning the basics of an “organized common sense” system for getting results with and through other people. You will become familiar with 4 powerful leadership styles and learn the techniques of how and when to use each style. You will also learn how to assess your employees’ development levels and needs.
This workshop takes a new look at the old question of motivation (“How can I motivate others?”). You will learn what motivation is and review some of the latest studies on what makes people work productively. A variety of practical tools and techniques will be covered including how to enrich any job.
Having the skills to coach others is a must in today’s fast-paced world. In this workshop, you will explore three types of coaching: self-coaching, direct report coaching and peer to peer coaching. Effective coaching provides an on-going system of communication for guiding, supporting, and helping people to grow continuously.
Leadership is often about doing the things that many people don’t like doing. Dealing with conflict is one of these things. This workshop is designed to expand and strengthen your skills when facing conflict. Too frequently, conflict is viewed as a negative force. However, it can be productive and can result in vast improvements, creative solutions, and important life lessons.
The major purpose of this workshop is to show you how to set goals for maximum performance. You will be actively involved in a goal-setting exercise that will point out the key factors for success. Emphasis will also be placed on how to write, communicate, and take on goals that matter most. You will develop a personal workplace Big Bold Leadership Goal and take meaningful action on it. Results will be reported in the Leadership Success module.
This workshop happens 3 weeks after Goal Power session. You will present your progress on the specific Big Bold Leadership Goal that you developed. The value to both you, your team and OCPW are identified. During this energizing session, you will share leadership success stories. Strategies will be discussed on how to extend these successes into a continuous process that can be applied in the future.
